You are invited to JOIN THE JOURNEY! USA Down Syndrome Swimming, Inc is seeking national team coaches for both the competitive and artistic teams. Please submit application form by August 20, 2023.
*Note: DEADLINE EXTENDED to 8.20.2023

The opportunity to coach and travel with a team of elite athletes to represent the USA at an international event is rare. Coaching the USA Down Syndrome National Swimming Team will be especially rewarding considering the barriers that each of our T21 Swim Warriors had to overcome to make the team.

We are looking for experienced professionals who have a heart for athletes with developmental disabilities. There are 2 upcoming National Team events that coaches are required to attend.
1a. National Competitive Training Camp: October 18-21 at the Rosen Aquatic Center, Orlando, FL
1b. National Artistic Training Camp: October 20-21 at the Rosen Aquatic Center, Orlando, FL
2. Trisome Games (includes World Down Syndrome Swimming Championship) in Antalya, Turkey March 19-26, 2024.

Coaches’ travel expenses will be covered.

The USADSS Board of Directors will make up the Coaches Selection Committee. Candidates will be considered from the application pool provided they meet the requirements listed below.
