Jonathan (Jon) started swimming as a preschooler at the YMCA, and first competed on a summer league team at age 8 in Saint Charles, Missouri. He currently trains with the Flyers Aquatic Swim Team (FAST), and with the Disabled Athletes Sports Association (DASA) in St. Louis, Missouri. His first international competition was the 2022 DSISO World Championship in Albufeira, Portugal. He won 2 gold, 3 silver and a bronze medal. He holds the the DSISO Junior America's Record for the 100 IM, and also holds six Move United National Swimming records in the U17/SB14 category.
When he is not in the pool, Jon enjoys playing basketball, doing karate and hanging out with his friends.
